Campuses
The Faculty of VCA and MCM has two campuses at Southbank and Parkville. Download up-to-date campus maps from the Property and Campus Sevices website.
In the hub of Melbourne’s cultural and arts precinct, students at the Faculty of VCA and MCM rub shoulders with some of the most creative people in town.
Because of our ideal location, our students enjoy many wonderful opportunities to participate in the artistic life of Melbourne. With such an array of events on their doorstep, our students are regular attendees at exhibitions, performances, rehearsals, master classes and other significant events in Melbourne's cultural calendar.
Southbank campus
The Southbank campus is home to the majority of our programs. The purpose-built facilities in the heart of Melbourne’s arts precinct encourage our students’ creative talents. The campus sits alongside the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Theatre Company, Melbourne Recital Centre, The Australian Ballet, Chunky Move, the Arts Centre and the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.
Parkville campus
The Parkville campus – which is home to many of the Conservatorium of Music’s programs – is situated in the heart of the University of Melbourne, and boasts the grand 340-seat Melba Hall, the scene of many memorable recitals and performances.
Please note that music programs are offered at both campuses.
