TESTING SITES is a public art project sited on the Parkville campus at the University of Melbourne by five students from the Sculpture and Spatial Practice Department, VCA School of Art. The project involved the students being mentored by Melbourne-based artist and alumna Kay Abude to develop artworks in response to the grounds, gardens and architecture of the university.
Public artworks by Joshua Edward, Olivia Guardiani, Jessie McClure, Sean McDowell and Yuval Rosinger are on display from 6 to 26 May 2017.
TESTING SITES is supported by Arts Programs, the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) in collaboration with the Victorian College of the Arts.
TESTING SITES way-finders are available from UMSU George Paton Gallery, VCA Sculpture and Spatial Practice Department and VCA Art Administration from Friday 5 May.
