In its fifth year, Rising: the Victoria Harbour Young Artist Initiative is an exhibition of public artworks from young artists currently studying in Sculpture and Spatial Practice at the VCA School of Art. It offers these artists at the commencement of their careers an opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of developing and exhibiting major works for public spaces.
Co-ordinated and curated by Laura Woodward and Sarah Jane Haywood.
Rising: the Victoria Harbour Young Artist Initiative is presented by Sculpture and Spatial Practice, School of Art, Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne, and Lend Lease, with support from Places Victoria.
