Melbourne launches biggest campaign of its kind in city’s history

The University of Melbourne has launched the largest philanthropic Campaign in its 160-year history, seeking to raise $500 million by 2017. $10 million from The Ian Potter Foundation, Martyn and Louise Myer, and The Myer Foundation will go towards the exciting development of the Southbank Campus – using the leverage that philanthropy can provide to encourage government to work in partnership. Creative arts graduates awarded $200,000 in scholarships

The careers of eight recent Victorian College of the Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (VCA&MCM) graduates are off to a flying start, having been awarded scholarships to help them develop links and projects with local arts organisations and established artists.
