Master of Music (Opera Performance) student Elizabeth Lewis has won the prestigious Opera Foundation Australia Lady Fairfax New York Scholarship. She beat five other finalists on Sunday at a public recital at the Sydney Conservatorium to claim the $43,000 prize that will fund a study trip to New York for vocal, language and movement coaching.
