Alumna Gina Kalabishis wins 2014 Rick Amor Drawing Prize

The Art Gallery of Ballarat has announced Gina Kalabishis (Bachelor of Fine Art, 1993) as the winner of the $12,000 2014 Rick Amor Drawing Prize. 

Kalabishis’s winning entry, Untitled, pastel on velour paper, will be purchased by the Art Gallery of Ballarat and takes pride of place in a free exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ballarat together with all 77 shortlisted works. The exhibition opened on Saturday 1 February and will run until Sunday 23 March.

VCA alumna Elizabeth Debicki wins AACTA Award

Congratulations to actress Elizabeth Debicki (Bachelor of Dramatic Art 2010) for her Best Supporting Actress award at the annual AACTA Awards in Sydney. Elizabeth won the award for her performance as Jordan Baker in Baz Luhrmann's film The Great Gatsby.

Overcoming Performance Anxiety
