Indigenous students
The Wilin Centre for Indigenous Arts supports and encourages current Indigenous Australian students at the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. The Centre identifies and recruits potential and practicing Indigenous artists to study and hone their skills through the Faculty of VCA and MCM’s world-class arts training programs. It educates students, staff and the public to recognise and engage with diverse Indigenous arts, artists and communities.
The Wilin Centre welcomes and supports Indigenous people wishing to pursue a career in the arts, Indigenous Elders and community members and members of the public interested in Indigenous arts and cultural development.
